Paula Bresnan Gibson, Esq. Founder
Paula Bresnan Gibson created the Gibson Mediation Group, LLC because as an attorney, she experienced the contentious and expensive nature of legal disputes. She realized that there were better ways of resolving differences than going to court.
By spending time trying to facilitate agreements, rather than months or years in litigation, Paula enables people in family disputes to find solutions by getting them to talk and work through their differences.
Paula’s use of her legal experience and conflict resolution skills guides couples and families to reach agreements that they devise, which reduces the amount of stress, time, and costs of litigation.
We help create a supportive environment for your conversations so that the discussions are respectful, and the results are fair, making it a win for both sides.

Paula Bresnan Gibson
Mediation is one of the best ways to resolve conflicts because it allows opposing parties to air their differences and hear the perspective of the other side. Openly communicating and listening to one another in mediation enables parties to find common ground and workable solutions. I am honored that clients entrust me with guiding them through the challenging concerns that they face, and it is satisfying to see the empowering effects on clients when they are able to reach solutions.
In my free time, I like to hike and watch my favorite hockey team, the Washington Capitals, score goals.
